Engineuity has developed a revolutionary process allowing
for the production of methanol by electrolytic production of hydrogen combined with carbon dioxide from the air. Engineuity's technology constitutes a worldwide breakthrough in the synthesis and production of next generation non-fossil 'green' fuel.

THE MARKET

Engineuity is aiming at the world market for methanol, which is currently estimated at EURO 10 million annually. The world market for bio-fuels was estimated at 3.5 billion liters in 2005, with an annual growth of more than 50%.

THE TECHNOLOGY
Engineuity synthesizes methanol by capturing CO2 from air or other natural sources like natural gas wells, landfills, or fermentation systems. Using this technology, Engineuity makes it possible to obtain fuel that is completely independent of fossil sources, and alternatively to multiply by several folds the fuel obtained from fermentation of corn, wheat or cane sugar.

STATUS

Engineuity aims to complete the development of a Methanol Production prototype of 10 L/ h within two years.
